Heading to Burning Man

Monday, August 6th, 2007

We are in the process of responding to many requests from Burning Man attendees (”Burners”) who will be using some C&M products to make the going a little smoother (can you say “Lube it?”) while out there grooving in Black Rock. For those of you who haven’t been, Burning Man is an amazing and important event. It can also be HOT, WINDY, DRY and not conducive to washing up whenever you have a whim. So we are seeding some friends and anyone who asks (while supplies last) with some of our goodies. In keeping with the spirit of Burning Man, we are not advertising or promoting this onsite at Burning Man. We are also covering up the labels on the products we are sending with “generic” versions such as:

Create Passion Linen Mist – which is now called:
Create Energy | Atomized droplets of pure passion

Inspire Romance Linen Mist – which is now called:
Inspire Calm | Chill with this soothing spray

Tela D’ Amour – which is now called:
Body Wipes | Get it off after you got it on…

Create Passion Personal Lubricant – which is now called:
Lube it! | Perfect for anything that needs some slick. Great for you, your toys or slipping a tire back onto the rim.

We’re just bummed that we can’t attend ourselves. If you want more info, send us an email or comment. -Curt

Connecting Music and Farming

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

Say what??? Kind of an auspicious title for the first post after a two-month hiatus, but as we noted below in our April 26 entry  we admire what the folks at Windrose Farm are doing and love the fact that they have managed to marry their wonderful produce with the Warner Bros recording artists, The Ditty Bops for a concert tonight. We’re flattered to be helping out and know we’ll have a great time. Here are the details as posted on the Sundance Channel Eco-mmunity Map:
On Wednesday August 1, 2007, Windrose Farm, a San Luis Obispo County award-winning organic farm is teaming with Warner Bros. Recording artists; The Ditty Bops, as part of the Ditty Bops’ 2007 Summer FARM TOUR. The band was recently honored as one of 10 artists spotlighted by Billboard who are making a difference with environmental issues and inspiring their peers to do the same.

Date and Time of Event:
Wednesday August 1, 2007 @ 6pm

Hope to see you there. -Curt
