These drink recipes include ingredients known for their sleep-inducing properties, such as chamomile, lavender, turmeric, and almond butter. Enjoying these beverages in the evening can help you relax and prepare your body for a restful night's sleep. Any of these are quick and simple to make yourself.

1. CHAMOMILE & LAVENDER SLEEP TEA
Ingredients
- 1 chamomile tea bag
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried lavender flowers
- 1 cup of hot water
Instructions
1. Boil water and pour it into a cup.
2. Add the chamomile tea bag and dried lavender flowers.
3. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes.
4. Remove the tea bag and strain the lavender flowers.
5. Sip the soothing tea before bedtime for a calming effect.
2. GOLDEN MILK (TURMERIC) SLEEP ELIXER
Ingredients
- 1 cup of milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder

- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat.
2. Add the turmeric, cinnamon, and a pinch of black pepper.

4. Sweeten with honey if desired.

3. BANANA & ALMOND BUTTER SLEEP SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter
- 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt (or a dairy-free alternative)
- 1/2 cup of almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of honey (optional)
Instructions
1. Combine the ripe banana, almond butter, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and nutmeg in a blender.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Sweeten with honey if desired.
